INTERNATIONAL

LeaderImpact Global Exchanges give business leaders an opportunity to give back by bringing their knowledge, influence, and expertise to marketplace leaders in other countries around the world.

Past trips have included destinations in Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador and Panama.

UPCOMING GLOBAL EXCHANGES

If you want to impact a country, you must first reach its leaders. Over the last 5 years, we have seen incredible growth and fruit as a result of our partnership with the team in Medellin. This city has become our model LeaderImpact city in South America, and has opened doors all over the continent for Canada to bring LeaderImpact to the marketplace. As a member of this team you will be involved in evangelistic dinner parties, sector outreaches, LeaderImpact Forums and one on one opportunities with Colombian leaders.

We are inviting leaders to this Global Exchange as an opportunity to reconnect with LeaderImpact and marketplace ministry, or to connect with us for the first time. We are confident that you will be inspired by the passion and energy of the Christian leaders of Medellin, and the incredible growth that they have seen in their city in the last half decade.

Medellin, located in the serene Aburra Valley in northern Colombia, is a vibrant, modern city known for its cultural encounters, the warmth of its people, and is called the “City of the Eternal Spring” for its pleasant spring-like climate year round. It is a city rich in culture and history from its Spanish heritage.

Team members will receive our best training in how to begin a spiritual conversation, share your personal faith story, lead someone to Christ and follow up with them. It’s all designed to increase your leadership confidence, empower you to take steps of faith and to make a difference back in your own Canadian city.

If you want to impact a country, you must first reach its leaders. Working together with the Christian leaders of Cali to establish a sustainable outreach to unsaved marketplace leaders is an incredible opportunity! This Exchange will take the next step in both impacting leaders in Cali and working together with our long-term partners from Medellin to reach out across South America. As a member of this team you will be involved in evangelistic dinner parties, sector outreaches, LeaderImpact Forums and one on one opportunities with Colombian leaders.

Santiago de Cali, usually known by its short name “Cali”, is the capital of the Valle del Cauca department, and the most populous city in southwest Colombia, with an estimated 2,319,655. Cali is the third-largest city proper and metropolitan area in population and the second-largest city by area in the country. As the only major Colombian city with access to the Pacific Coast, Cali is the main urban and economic centre in southwest Colombia, and has one of the fastest-growing economies in the country. The city was founded on July 25, 1536 by the Spanish conquistador Sebastián de Belalcázar.

Cali is also a centre for sports in Colombia, and is the only Colombian city to have hosted the Pan American Games. It has been named by renowned salsa singers “The World Capital of Salsa” with reference to its different schools for the musical genre—often producing world champion dancers—and the exclusive venues for dancing at its fair; factors which have given the city its strong musical identity.

Team members will receive our best training in how to begin a spiritual conversation, share your personal faith story, lead someone to Christ and follow up with them. It’s all designed to increase your leadership confidence, empower you to take steps of faith and to make a difference back in your own Canadian city.
