If you want to impact a country, you must first reach its leaders. Working together with the Christian leaders of Paraguay to establish a sustainable outreach to unsaved marketplace leaders is a wonderful opportunity! As a member of this team you will be involved in evangelistic dinner parties, sector outreaches, LeaderImpact Forums and one on one opportunities with Paraguayan leaders.

Asuncion is one of the oldest cities in South America. The “Mother of Cities” was founded in 1537. The friendly Paraguayan capital has long been a centre of music, poetry and the arts, but only in recent years has Asunción been able to escape its long history of rule by dictators.

Economically, Asuncion is on the rise, and for five years running has been considered among the top South American cities for foreign investment. One of the factors that make this a unique opportunity is the fact that 65% of the population of Asuncion is under the age of 30. This is an incredible chance to reach and impact young leaders who are, and will continue to be, the primary influencers in the city. Additionally, the importance of agriculture in the Paraguayan economy, and higher education as a primary social focus are two key areas that we will have an opportunity to impact. Since more than 35% of the country’s total population live in the greater Asuncion area, this constitutes our greatest opportunity through LeaderImpact to truly influence a nation’s leadership for Jesus!

Team members will receive our best training in how to begin a spiritual conversation, share your personal faith story, lead someone to Christ and follow up with them. It’s all designed to increase your leadership confidence, empower you to take steps of faith and to make a difference back in your own Canadian city.
